Wind Symphony
The Wind Symphony is the preeminent wind band at Evanston Township High School. Made up of the most mature wind and percussion musicians at ETHS, this ensemble studies advanced literature utilizing a conceptual and fundamental skill set developed over many years of study. The ETHS Wind Symphony is committed to developing a strong understanding of ensemble performance concepts and instrument pedagogy in every student through the study of traditional and contemporary, and secular and sacred repertoire of the highest caliber.

The Wind Symphony has performed at Chicago's Symphony Center, the University of Illinois Krannert Center, Illinois State University, and several other prestigious venues. They have also represented ETHS as a clinic ensemble at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic, and have performed as a featured ensemble at the Illinois Music Educator's Association All-State Conference. In 2014, the ETHS Wind Symphony was selected to perform at the prestigious University of Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival, marking the group's first ever performance in the 43 year history of the event. They returned to SuperState in 2016, marking the second opportunity for the group.
