Tuba Christmas 2013

On Saturday morning, December 21st, tuba students Ian Burke, Jamie Carthew, Nikos Hessert, and Joey Parker attended Tuba Christmas at the Palmer House in downtown Chicago. This event brings thousands of tuba and euphonium players together in hundreds of venues across the United States to perform holiday music for large audiences each December. The Chicago event alone featured nearly 400 tuba and euphonium players from the city and surrounding suburbs. We were proud to represent the city of Evanston this year and were lucky enough to be featured in a news article and online documentary this week as part of the Chicago Sun-Times and Evanston Review newspapers.
